Worked in the WAE (SSB) Contest 2013 in the first time of my long HAM Life (ever). Used a “Win-Test” Log Software with 100 Watts and vertical antennas.

The HF conditions was VERY bad during the contest. 10m band was open for long distance, but not for short skip to Europe. Heard a lot’s of South American stations. Only in the last Contest day I got very short “open window” on 10m to Europe and made 118 QSO’s. 40m band also was very poor. Amazing, but as I worked on 7150 KHz around 19 UTC and called “CQ” a few Japanese stations came on the same freq and worked locally. Their signals was VERY strong. Much louder vs my neighbors from SV’s and IT9’s. 15m band was very nice during two contest days. 20m band – so so…
