This amplifier requires the soon to be released HP-770 100amp power supply, or another 13.8V source rated to 100amps.
- A compact solid-state linear to boost 60~100W exciter to 550W PEP (typ.) output on HF band, making full use of the latest semiconductor circuit technology.
- Built-in auto band-select function that uses a newly developed micro processor based technology, and works a smooth automatic operation when driven by the radio. ( Manual band setting is possible as well. )
- The HL-770B is capable of turning ON / OFF the optional DC power supply HP-770.
- The HL-770B is equipped with a hard-key terminal to make a smooth send / receive switching with the radio, and also an output terminal for ALC circuit which controls the output of the radio. ALC helps suppress excessive
- output and avoid the signal distortion.
- The HL-770B has various protection circuits such as for high antenna SWR, over-drive, over-voltage, band mis-set, over-temperature, and PA unbalance. When any abnormal condition is detected, operation is automatically
- shut down to prevent the failure.
- With the large analog multi meter, Pf ( transmission power ), Pr ( reflected power ), and V DC ( power voltage ) can always be monitored.
- RF key is available, when internal switch is selected.
