The German “RDR50B” is a radio receiver with transceiver option and based on DSP (two 16-bit ADC).
He has a 18 cm (7 “) wide screen with touch panel. The entire unit is operated via this touch panel and the control knob. The desired settings can be tapped directly on the display and then changed using the rotary knob. Number of entries are possible by calling a virtual keyboard.
Features:
- Frequency range 1 kHz – 30 MHz and 50 MHz – 54 MHz.
- Devices with option “FM” also 87.5 MHz – 108 MHz and 144 MHz – 148 (154) MHz. Also in the FM band is direct digitization.
- Devices with option “sender” allow broadcast at 9 amateur bands below 30 MHz.
- Clipping: +6 dBm (up to 54 MHz), -12 dBm (FM).
- IP3 values ??up to +28 dBm (at 30 MHz, 2 x -10 dBm signals).
- Sensitivity to 30 MHz (20 dB SNR): 3 uV 50% and 0.5 uV AM FM 75 kHz wide.
- MDS (CW, 10 Hz bandwidth): -147 dBm.
- Demodulators: AM-H, AM-Sync, SSB, CW, FM narrow and wide IF Out, baseband-out.
- Spectral resolution: 5 Hz – 320 Hz / line, spectrum width of 600 lines.
- Transmit power (only units with option “sender”): 5 W PEP.
- Remote control via USB.
- External power supply +12 V … +15 V max. 1.8 A.
There are 4 versions of RDR50B:
- RDR50B1: receiver for short wave (1 kHz – 30 MHz) and 6 m band (50 – 54 MHz)
- RDR50B2 how RDR50B1 with FM (87.5 – 108 MHz and 144-148 MHz)
- RDR50B3: shortwave transceiver (RX from 1 kHz) and 6 meters band
- RDR50B4: as with FM RDR50B3
RDR54C and RDR50B. Both devices are available in black or gray / metallic.
